About the Edge
We desire to reach this generation of students with the good news of Jesus Christ. Many students find themselves hurting and not understanding why. For a large part of this generation, living in a broken and violent home is the norm. Statistics bear that students today view Christianity as a boring lifestyle.
Our desire is to show students of all backgrounds that Christianity is exciting and that Jesus can fill that deep longing we all have for something more in life. We believe the Bible to be the infallible Word of God and it provides the pathway for students to fulfill their potential and purpose in life. The "EDGE" is more than programs and events. You will find Bible studies that challenge the way you think, services that are far from boring, and hear the gospel presented to foster personal and spiritual growth. Everyone is welcome to come and be a part of the "EDGE." God Bless.
Location and Hours
We are located on 22nd Avenue right next to the Cookeville High School. We are open every Wednesday from 3-9 and every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 5-9. We also open up every Friday night from 6-9:30. Our phone number is 931-520-EDGE.

Meet Pastor Greg and Laura!
I am so glad that you took the time to visit our website! My name is Greg Canada and I'm from Sweetwater, Tenn. The beautiful girl in the picture next to me is my wife, Laura who was born and raised in Lorain, Ohio. We were married March, 24 2007, and yes, I married a Yankee! We met and fell in love at Tennessee Tech where I played baseball and she played volleyball for four years. We are very excited about all that God is doing in our student ministry and in our personal lives. We are here for each and every student with any kind of hurt or need in their life. Our goal in ministry is to help students of all ages understand that they can have hope in Jesus Christ! No matter how many mistakes you have made in your past, Jesus still loves you and He desires a personal relationship with you! We are so blessed to be a part of such a great church with a positive vision to reach the next generation of young people. I hope that you stop by and check us out and learn how to live a life that is on the "EDGE".
